Terms & Conditions
The services, materials or goods to be supplied are subject to these terms and conditions. No other terms or conditions will be accepted unless specifically signed by a company director.
In the event of the price of the work being quoted, it will be subject to change in respect of VAT, if the rate is changed. The quotation is open for acceptance within 30 days, after that date the price may be amended or the offer withdrawn.
The price may also change if:
- There are defects in any existing installation being extended
- The customer changes the specification
- Work is delayed through no fault of our own
The customer shall pay accounts within 30 days of the date of R J Wilson Electrical Ltd invoice. If Payment is not received within this time limit we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 30% APR from the due date until payment is made.
Any costs or third party commissions incurred in the recovery of bad debts or losses due to non- compliance with these terms will be added to the final account.
R.J. Wilson Electrical Limited reserves the right to send an interim account where the job spans more than 28 days or costs of £5000 are incurred and whichever is the sooner. The above time constraint will also apply to interim accounts.
R.J. Wilson Electrical Limited will not accept responsibility for making good any damage, building or decorating costs unless they are directly a result of the company's negligence. R J Wilson Ltd cannot accept responsibility for damage/loss consequential or otherwise caused if carpets or other floor coverings have to be taken up.
All work carried out shall be safe and of satisfactory standard and fit for the purpose which it is to be used.
The customer agrees to provide safe access to carry out the work and also agrees to provide free of charge reasonable use of water, electricity, eating and toilet facilities.
The customer shall be responsible for the safety of any equipment or materials left on site, and for the safety of works as yet uncompleted.
R.J. Wilson Electrical Limited shall retain absolute ownership of the goods and materials, and shall not pass ownership to the customer until the final account of the work has been settled
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and do not affect your statutory rights.
